Random Acts of GENI Kindness - South Africa

Random Acts of mommy_badge.gif Kindness - South Africa

This project is an experimental exercise inspired by the Random Act of Kindness which was widely publicised by Danny Wallace's book Join Me in 2002.

A random act of kindness is a selfless act performed by a person or people wishing to either assist or cheer up an individual person or people.

Random Acts of itty_badge.gif Kindness - South Africa is similar to Generous Genealogists where Genealogists worldwide can register their willingness to assist others. Many of us have resources which we can consult for others - reference books etc. If you are willing to consult these on behalf of others then register your willingness to do so here.

===PLEASE DO NOT EXPLOIT OR ABUSE THE OFFERS===

This service is not for large, extended searches which require a professional researcher. It is for small look-ups only. Those offering assistance will withdraw their offer if they feel exploited!

To participate you first need to be a collaborator so join the project. You can then add yourself to the following list (in alphabetical order of last name), followed by a list of the resources you are willing to consult.

A number of online resources are listed on the South African Genealogical Reference Centre. This is a place to share publications etc. you have which are not freely available on line.

These are FREE lookups, but if expenses are incurred (e.g. at Record Offices) then these should be reimbursed. If you offer a research service please indicate this by add £ after the subject.
