Scope of Project is To build a single, validated and documented shared family tree the goals being:

The Norris Family" by Harry Alexander Davis is an amazing work in Genealogy, 1500 pages in four volumes. Only three copies were produced, and one is located in the Rare Books Section of the Library of Congress. Another is to be in the Kansas DAR Library at dodge city, Ks.

These books and transcript were based and the Davis transcript:

I first databased in the Davis transcript from a microfilm copy that was lent to me by a fellow researcher herbert Norris in Washington state after finding out that the Norris line I am working on for friends have several lines of descent from Thomas Norris of Maryland - after getting it transcribed into PAF I then got the books marked with a + on loan from either NGS or NEHGS this was all done back in 1997-1999 as I have come across information during researching i have added it into the database. herbert then prepared me a copy of his research and I added it in also -

The scope of the database it to - correct, add documentation - and continue to add descendants to the Thomas Norris of Maryland - and to allow a generational manuscript of descendants that could be printed out into book form.
