Thomas Cocke was born 07/17/1815 in North Carolina. ( found in US Census records of 1840). He married HoYoPah Tubble (choctaw) She was later known as Mary. Thomas signed the Dancing Rabbit Treaty and Migrated to Union County Arkansas with script to buy 40 acres of land 09/01/1849. Thomas made application to the Cherokee through his mother to become a member of that tribe.
