Kotur refers to our ancestral village now in the suburb of Greater Bangalore. Our fore fathers of 4 generations migrated from Srirangam Tamilnadu and took up settlement in Kotur. Since then all the family members carry the surname - "Kotur" which is currently in the 7th generation. The Kotur family lineage follows:
