We’re excited to be headed to Orlando, Florida for the 37th IAJGS International Conference on Jewish Genealogy! The conference will take place July 23 – 28 at the Walt Disney World Swan Resort.

IAJGS is always a lively affair with genealogists from all over the world coming together to see old friends, meet new people and learn more about the world of Jewish genealogy.

Come see Geni at the exhibit hall, which is open July 23 – 27, and pick up a free Geni water bottle. These will definitely come in handy in the hot Florida sun! Several Geni curators will also be in attendance and will be stopping by the Geni booth throughout the conference. Be sure to come with your questions to get help from our expert team of curators.

On Sunday, July 23, join Geni curator Randy Schoenberg for Expo! The World Family Tree session to learn more about the benefits of working in a shared, collaborative family tree. The EXPO! will take place 3:00 – 4:15pm. And be sure to check out Randy’s other lectures during the conference too!

Don’t forget to pencil into your schedule the Geni Birds of a Feather meeting, which will take place Monday, July 24 at 11:15am – 12:30pm. This informal get together is the perfect opportunity to meet other Geni users or to learn more about working in the World Family Tree in a more casual setting.

If you can’t make the conference, IAJGS will have several sessions streamed live and recorded.

Do you have Jewish ancestry? Join the Jewish Genealogy Portal on Geni for helpful resources and to connect with other researchers.

Will you be at IAJGS? We hope to see you there!
