Buzz Aldrin

On July 20, 1969, the first manned spacecraft landed on the moon. Named one of the greatest accomplishments in the history of space exploration,  Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin, Jr. became the first humans to step foot on the moon. Their lunar landing module, Eagle, spent 21 hours and 31 minutes on the lunar surface while Command Module Pilot Michael Collins orbited above.
