Profile of the Day: Dr. Seuss

On March 2, 1904, beloved children’s book author Theodor Seuss Geisel was born. Using the pen name Dr. Seuss, Geisel’s books are characterized by his imaginative creatures and playful rhymes. In the U.S., the National Education Association has adopted this day as Read Across America Day, an initiative to encourage and motivate children to read. What’s your favorite Dr. Seuss book?
