Profile of the Day: John Steinbeck

On April 14, 1939 American author John Steinbeck published his Pulitzer Prize winning novel, The Grapes of Wrath. He wrote over 27 books, including 16 novels, many of which were about the lives of common people during the Great Depression.  In 1962, Steinbeck received the Nobel Prize for Literature.
