Did you know that you can also add&nbsp;custom&nbsp;details to any event? This is perfect for when you want to add important information that is not covered in the&nbsp;standard data fields provided by Geni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, you may&nbsp;include additional details to a baptism event by adding a field for godparents. Or perhaps more details about&nbsp;an immigration event, such as&nbsp;a port of entry. These are&nbsp;significant&nbsp;pieces of genealogical information that would be important for people to see in the main details section of an event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To begin, go to&nbsp;a profile&#8217;s Timeline and select an existing event or click &#8220;Add a New Event&#8221; to create a new one. For example, if it is a baptism event, you may want to create a field for godparents. Once a profile is tagged, the event will also appear on those profiles&#8217; Timelines.
