Here’s a look at a few of the profiles included:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Howard Hughes<\/a> – He was an American aviator, engineer, film producer, philanthropist and one of the wealthiest people in the world. He set multiple world air-speed records and built the “Spruce Goose<\/a>,” the largest\u00a0flying boat<\/a> ever constructed, with the largest wingspan of any aircraft in history.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Amelia Earhart<\/a> –\u00a0Earhart was an aviation pioneer and author. She set numerous aviation records, including being the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic. In 1937 while attempting to circumnavigate the globe, Earhart mysteriously disappeared over the central Pacific Ocean.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Orville Wright<\/a> – Orville and his brother Wilbur<\/a> are credited with the inventing and building the world’s first successful airplane. On December 17, 1903 the brothers succeeded in making the first controlled, powered and sustained heavier-than-air human flight.<\/p>\n

\"\"Beryl Markham<\/a> – She was the first person to fly solo across the Atlantic from east to west.<\/p>\n

\"\"Charles Lindbergh<\/a> – Known as “Lucky Lindy” and “The Lone Eagle,” Lindbergh gained notoriety for making the first solo, non-stop flight across the Atlantic from New York to Paris, France.<\/p>\n
