Cycles can now be<br \/>\ncreated for nodes that are deceased and do not have email addresses.<br \/>\nUse the \u2018create a cycle\u2019 link (found in the \u201cmore\u201d link of the standard<br \/>\nview or on the flipped node) to add the node to the Tree tray. Then<br \/>\ndrag the node onto the second person to whom he or she is related and<br \/>\nselect the appropriate relationship.<\/p>\n<h2>Center Single Parents<\/h2>\n<p>With<br \/>\nthe new \u2018Center single parents\u2019 tree preference, you can choose how to<br \/>\ndisplay single parents on your tree. This applies to a node on your<br \/>\ntree with only one known parent. The default is to display the known<br \/>\nparent and a node for the unknown parent that prompts you to add that<br \/>\nperson (\u2018Add This Person\u2019). Selecting the new \u2018Center single parents\u2019<br \/>\noption will \u2018hide\u2019 that node under the known node.<\/p>\n<h2>Flip Node enhancements<\/h2>\n<p>We have made some enhancement to the \u201cflip\u201d nodes tree preference:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click to \u201cflip\u201d nodes option \u2013 With this selected, the nodes only flip when you click on them.<\/li>\n<li>Relationship description \u2013 The flipped node now includes your relationship to that person.<\/li>\n<li>Delay \u2013 There is now a delay before a node is flipped, to reduce unwanted flips as you navigate your tree.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/www.geni.com\/tree\">View your tree now<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/forum.geni.com\/topic.php?id=1887\">Discuss this story<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Create a Cycle A cycle occurs when the same person appears more than once in your tree (for example, when two sisters marry two brothers).
