While some of the improvements may not be noticeable while interacting with Geni, we want to give our users a better idea of what is included in each release. You may notice that many of these enhancements and fixes came directly from requests posted to <a href=\"http:\/\/help.geni.com\/home\">Geni Help<\/a> and our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.geni.com\/discussions\">public discussions<\/a>. An archive of our previous release notes can be found in our <a href=\"http:\/\/help.geni.com\/forums\/337263-announcements\">Geni Help Announcements<\/a>. And as always, comments and feedback are appreciated! Without further ado, here are the notes from today\u2019s release:<\/p>\n<h4>Enhancements:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The nickname field has been      moved to the Basics tab when you edit a profile and is relabeled      &#8220;Also known as.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Latest news feed and People      You May Know module have been removed from the home page<\/li>\n<li>Request to Collaborate can      now be found under the Actions menu<\/li>\n<li>We no longer display      &#8220;Contact Manager&#8221; if there is no manager on a profile<\/li>\n<li>Replaced commas with      semi-colons in family list view<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Fixes:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed bug preventing users      from inviting relatives to join their tree<\/li>\n<li>You can now add Facebook URLs      as documents<\/li>\n<li>Fixed broken document      thumbnails<\/li>\n<li>Search will now give the same      exact results when using \u00f3 or o<\/li>\n<li>Fixed issue with setting      primary email address of a profile you manage<\/li>\n<li>For non-Pros, you can now see      the Pro edit option on a profile with a pending collaboration request<\/li>\n<li>Fixed bug that automerged      subsuming dates<\/li>\n<li>Fixed permissions error on      videos for Master Profile<\/li>\n<li>Fixed pagination for profile      revisions<\/li>\n<li>Profile search now defaults      to \u201cAll of Geni\u201d for everyone<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are always listening to feedback from our users and regularly make improvements and bug fixes to the site.
