I was just wondering if there's any one with access to literature on Gernan nobility during the 17th century. The reason behind my interest is that I've read that the Behrenfeldt family belonged to the nobility in Prussia. Elisabeth Magdalena Behrenfeldt was born some time around 1645, the location of birth is unknown. She married Georg Andreas Donner and the couple settled in Scania, Sweden. They can be found from 1662 when he worked for the army and administration of the province. Georg Andreas Donner was appointed mayor of Landskrona in 1692 and died in 1694. Elisabeth Magdalena died in St:a Maria parish in Ystad, Scania in 1712. I read on familysearch.com that her father was Anders Bernfelt, but I couldn't find the source so I can't be to sure of that information. Could there be a connection between the Behrenfeldt, Berenfeldt, Bernfelt and von Bärfelt families?
