Are there plans for a "Rough Riders" sub-project. I am adding Sgt. George W. Armijo, Rough Rider to this project. He was a Rough Rider from New Mexico.
Kwame, i'll leave it to one of the military types.
I have also put in a suggestion for those military types for a project about Fort Union, New Mexico, complete with an awesome source. If I ever finish Colonial Virginia, I might have time for projects again. See: http://www.geni.com/discussions/105152

Cindy has a list of enlisted men she needs help entering. Perhaps you could suggest someone?
I was amazed that there were "volunteer units" in the Civil & Sp. Am. Wars where their Gens. paid to equip them etc but if I recall, "Cousin Teddy" paid to equip his and a bunch he had gone to college with but he mentions a New Mexico Btn. Just looked and I shall have to get the book back from my son... drats
I take the question back, it looks like there is a list of @1250 men in
I do not have anyone avail to enter that many men.
Cindy, my particular Rough Rider was a volunteer from New Mexico - Sgt. George W. Armijo, Rough Rider - Sergeant with Troop F of the 1st US Volunteer Cavalry (The Rough Riders).
Do you want to set up the projects for the rough riders or should I ?
Here is another from New Mexico:
