Also, what do you think about dividing the Entertainers category into actor/actress and singer/songwriter?

Robin Lent,

I don't think that we need to split it up. But, it may be a good idea to do so.

I was having issues where to put composers; under writers or musicians

Under musicians. I base that on my son having taken classes in a conservatory :)

Kwame, this is the Notable American Jews project.

Kenneth Kwame Welsh, (C),

I have also started a similar project for Canadian Jews.

What ever is done in this project will be done to the Canadian one.

that's awesome..I was thinking last night, trying to keep my head from spinning off...about doing something with "Pioneer Jews" state by state.

Robin Lent I have material on pioneer Iowa Jews. In North Carolina, my cousin's family was well known (Nachamson) and featured in a Smithsonian exhibit on Jewish families from all 50 (or 48) states. They have the photo that they could share. That family had many daughters and three of them married Southern politicians. My Frankel cousin who one of them married was mayor of Huntington, WV :) One of the descendants has written a history I think.

We should really get him involved (the historian).
