This is such a good project, that I'm printing it out to go and read properly.
Thank you Justin for taking the time to make this research accessible to us. It is so pertinent to what we've been talking about ito tackling 'legend' vs 'spurious' data.

Thanks for the kind words, Sharon. I'm seeing a lot places where we need to fill in sources, flesh out explanations, etc. Maybe transfer some of the detail to related projects.

This is a start, but I hope that a year from now the whole thing is a thousand times better.

Yes, and it also provides an educational reference project to highlight for people to go to when those profiles arise on the tree.
I'm thinking I'll use the project url in the Curator note if I come across those profiles in the future. I think George will be glad about this too.

I was amused to see how many of these 'legends' are reported to have been buried in the British Isles as their final resting place. Glastonbury, for eg, must be brimming with their graves :-)
