This information was relayed to me by Lita Ilagan Yuson, daughter of Consuelo Agoncillo Ilagan-Yuson, sister of Dionisio Agoncillo Ilagan who is my mother,s father. Lita Yuson is now 74 years old living on San Diego St., Sampaloc, Manila. Teresa and Camilo had other children, namely Rosario who married Vicente Cabrera (had children Ludovina, Vicentico, Natividad, Ernesto, Gregorio, Catalina, Candida) and lived in Romblon, Vicente, Anastacio, Melquiades who married Aurelia Rosalez (had children Mameng. Charing, Jose, Tony. Carding, Manoling, Letty), Dionisio who married Arsenia Isla (had children Antonio, Beatriz, Leonora), and Consuelo who married Tomas Yuson (had children Jose, Noemi, Lita)

@Maria Agoncillo and Teresa Agoncillo:

When my mother Beatriz Isla Agoncillo-Ilagan died last July 26, 2010, my sister and I produced a family tree which started with Camilo Ilagan and Teresa Agoncillo as a married couple. This aroused the interest of our nephews and nieces asking us the "relation/connection of our ancestor Teresa Agoncillo with Felipe, Marcela and Teodoro Agoncillo.

Thus, I started searching for the Teresa Agoncillo genealogy and ended up with the Florencia Ilagan Hernandez-Corpuz Family tree on Geni which does not match with the Felipe Agoncillo Family tree. The two trees MAY get connected by searching for her parents or birth certificate which require that I be a member/subscriber by paying a fee which I cannot afford.I'm a 68 year old retired public school teacher whose pensioon is not even enough for my maintainance medicines and daily subsistence since I'm a Parkinson's disease patient.

I just opted to meet with Lita Agoncillo Ilagan Yuson, the 74 year old first cousin of my mother who said that her mother Consuelo and my grandfather Dionisio/ (they are siblings) are the first cousins of Anita Noble, daughter of Maria( daughter of Felipe); meaning Teresa and Maria are sisters and both daughters of Felipe since their daughters are first cousins but Teresa and Maria may or may not have the same mother.

I hope some of my relatives will follow this discussion and refute or agree with what I posted.

Hi Florencia. I would be glad to help you merge the trees. I will send you a collaboration request to be able to do that. I will send that out shortly.

@Felipe E. Agoncillo and Teresa Agoncillo

I shall be very happy if you can help in the merging of the trees. Tia Lita Ilagan Yuson can still be interviewed, already an octogenarian, at her home in Sampaloc, Manila.

Sincerely,
Florencia Hernandez Corpuz.

Hi Teresa. I found a reference to Camilo and Teresa via the marriage certificate of their son Melquiades (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FNSG-XNB); But nothing beyond that. Before I add Teresa to the tree, we need to approach the new information with scholarly diligence. Perhaps you or your relatives can share a document or historical article which would validate the oral history re: Teresa's parentage?

Hello I just recently found out that my father’s mother’s side of the family is also connected to Felipe & Marcela Agoncillo. I’m very interest in discovering our family lineage and how they are connected. My father was Francisco Agoncillo Tizon Jr and his mother was Bienvenida Agoncillo. I can’t seem to find much on my grandmother’s side other than I believe her father’s name was Jose Agoncillo. Do any of those names ring a bell for you? My father is no longer here so we are left trying to pull the pieces of the puzzle together. Thank you for any and all information.
