Help me find my Uncle Dan McCann. Ironically that song was playing when this post popped up, Michael. Patrick is my 48th Uncle. His sister Tigridia verch Calpurnius is my 47th grandmother. We have Scott and Irish veins from many directions in the tree branches. Looks like this page may be full of distant relatives. Happy Uncle Pat's Day all.

Patrick is my 53rd great uncle, as his sisterTigridia beech Calpurnia is my 52nd grandmother. However when I posted this information on an Irish roots page on Facebook, I was laughed at practically called a liar. Is there misinformation that I don’t know about?

Private User -- In order to claim anyone as a relative, it's up to you to go through and confirm thatcthe records prove a connection for each relationship in the chain. Have you done that for your relationship to Patrick? If you can't prove something with records, people will generally be skeptical.
