Abel Alford was born in either late 1802 or before 16 January 1803. He was baptised 16 Jan 1803 in Upton Lovell. These dates came from the research or Ron Hill (Victoria, Aust) with whom I have spoken to. His research was done using the microfiche from the LDS and he has uploaded his information to a tree on Familysearch.
I have a copy of the 'Wills and Administrations' index which reads as follows:
ALFORD Abel
Personal Estate £47 1s. 6d.
Resworn March 1889 £149 1s. 6d.
1888 31 May. The Will of Abel Alford formerly of North Bradley but late of Trowbridge both in the County of Wilts Poulterer who died 16 April 1888 at Trowbridge was proved at Salisbury by Isaac Alford of Holt Bradford-on -Avon in the said County Woolstapler the Son one of the Executors.
Note that this records states his place of death as Trowbridge and not North Bradley.
