Have you noticed such a relationship with my mother's family, originated from LODZ. I know that My ancestor, Zelig Ber Wagowski had a sister who married a Frankel. Then : Jakob F her son, Abraham F. his son, Henry Franked, my Cousin .
This Frankel family was in the area of Trakai, Lithuania and Lida (now Belarus). Lodz is pretty distant and Frankel is a very common name.
Have you done Y-DNA testing? Two Frankel descendants have tested. They are haplogroup G. You can find them under Frankel or Franklin in the FTDNA haplogroup project(s).
