John's bride was Sarah Jane Hawkins. There is a marriage registration record for this couple, bearing Sarah's full name, found over at Ancestry.com. On the memorial for her over at the Knoxville county Courthouse, it states her parents were Joseph Hawkins and Sarah Marlin. Hate to be a bug, but these (John and Sarah) are my sixth great-grandparents. :D
