Very interesting, Alex.
In fact, I remember that we discussed this quite a while ago somewhere on Geni discussion (probably in the Portaal). We didn't come up with this software corruption, but I think the plausible suggestion we had was that Reusel De Mierden might have been a sort of a 'neutral' place through which emigrants went before emigrating overseas. That was probably just a thought, and I haven't researched it myself. True enough, I've seen it quite a number of times and it simply made us wonder :-)
Thank you Alex for sharing the article.
I uploaded it to this project

There's a similar error for the location Y in France.
Here's the article I was reminded of:
Y, Somme, Picardie, France...SERIOUSLY?

FYI, I checked the Dutch Wikipedia page on Reusel. It says that the village was destroyed in 1580 as a consequence of the religious conflicts of the 80 Years' War - and that it was totally abandoned "for some time". It then mentions that one (reformed) church there started to come back in use after 1648. A catholic one only started operating again in 1672.
Hence, quite safe to assume that nobody was born in Reusel between 1580-1648, given that there were no inhabitants, no church and thus NO baptism records! That should settle it, I would think :-)
Donna Boggs, typing messages all in capitals is universally recognized on the internet as being equivalent to shouting.
Before you start shouting at people "so-and-so was born in Reusel-De Mierden" I suggest you read this discussion through, including the hyperlink in the very first post.
When i don't have my glasses on i use my computer's zoom function.
Have you made a profile on Geni for Henry Hall?
Is he listed with his parents or some siblings in the 1870 census?
Henry Hall is a very un-Dutch sounding name and a quick search of the main online archive of the Netherlands produces no results for that name between 1830 - 1840
