How do I undo a mistaken merge?

I'm pretty new to this, and I accidentally merged someone to my familytree that didn't match. How do I undo that?

If it's a public profile, paste a link here and a curator can undo the merge.

If's a private profile, you can send me or another curator the link and we can undo.

We can't undo merges done before late summer 2014, but undo merge is a great new tool.

Make sure to have dates / locations to distinguish it from others with the same name.

We all make mistakes. There's a Curator Assist thread that you can find expert users and curators in to ask whatever you need as you are learning. Or email works too.
