can anyone help? Te Ata-I-Hoea McGivern was born in the early 180s she married a soldier who fought in the New Zealand wars James McGivern they had a daughter Mary Amelia Mudgway born in Foxton who married George Mudgway

I have been very fortunate to have been given a lot of information and land deeds and also some sort of very disjointed whakapapa for Te Ata.
Happy to email it to you if you think toy can decipher it.
My line is Mary Amelia Mudgway, William Daniel Mudgway. I think you would find it interesting reading if you do not already have these.

Hi,

I'm a 5th direct decendant of Te Ata
My father is George Anderson, son of Hazel Mudgway, grandson to Elsie Mudgway, great grandson to Mary Mudgway, great great grandson to Te Ata.

Any accurate information on our Iwi is greatly appreciated.

Hi Jana Elise Petford I too am a descendant of Te Ata Ihaia did you happen to have much information on her ? Have you discovered what Iwi she belonged to or any lines of her/our whakapapa?

I am totally stuck. Jason gave me a whakapapa that he believes was attached to her but it doesnt match up with any of the names attached to ngati maniapoto where i thought i was from. Im wondering if she has moved up thecountry with my gggg grandfather james mcgivern from somewhere else??? Im totally confused
