What sources were used to link Jan Luy as the husband of Regina van Rapenberg van Guinea? It would be great to have them on the profile.

@ Regina van Rapenberg van Guinea
According to Delia Robertson's First Fifty years project Johannes ( Jan ) Luy van Ceylon married Dina van Coelang on 28 March 1688.
She Question a relationship between Jan and Regina as she could not find any proof of such relationship.
With no proof i believe we cannot link Jan Luy with Regina

Could the profile : Dina van Cochin be linked to Jan Luy's please.
I have cited transcriptions (with links) for Jan and Diana/Dina's marriage and added information from the Stellenbosch muster roll transcriptions.
For some reason I am unable to use the view tree function at present and can therefore not link them myself.
I will keep looking for the primary sources and add them to the profiles.
Thank you,
Michele
Primary sources that Jan Luij is Jan van Ceiljon are hard to find as they all seem to come from landownership records such as the 1693 Heemraad Minute Book.

Jan Van Ceylon
Jan van Ceylon ,in partnership with Marquard (also known as Paij), was granted a piece of land, (now known as Old Nectar) in 1685.In 1698 he acquired Jonkershoek from Jan de Jonker ,selling it in 1701. He sold Old Nectar in 1712, known at that time as Jan Lui (possibly an abbreviation of Jan Lui zyn plaats). The land was transferred to Anna Hoeks
Jan who owned Jan Lui farm was married to Dina van Coeleran/Cochin/Couchin and had a son Caspar Jansz who married his neighbour, Louis van Bengalen's daughter by Maria van de Caap - Anna Louisz.
Jan van Ceylon seems to appear in most records as Jan van Ceylon and not as Jan Lui van Ceylon.
Delia Robertson and Private User also refer to the Jan van Ceylon who was married to Dina van Couchin/Cochin/Quilon as Jan Luy/Luij/Leeu van Ceylon.
Perhaps they are able to assist with primary sources.

Michele
