what town did he live in back in Norway?

ticket bought June 6 and the SS Tasso (1) sailed on the 7th. this ship would of only sailed/ steamed to Hull from there he would of traveled by train to Liverpool and caught a bigger ship to the USA

Actual birth is Sept. 10, 1856, parents Nils and Alet(h). Can't find anything on him around 1883, sorry.

the 1865 census had 3 candidates and the 1875 census went up to 4. 2 from Alta and 2 from Talvik

in 1891 3 of the 4 are accounted for. 2 from Alta and 1 from Talvik who died in 1890. I'm still searching for this one.https://www.digitalarkivet.no/en/census/person/pf01052462002288

the last link is a better bet because his father Niels Olsen was born in Hammerfest 14 Feb 1924 and baptized on 18 July 1824
