Dealing with Mosquitoes! This is an FYI, but summer does seem to bring out these pests, so thought I would share this means of dealing with them. A friend sent this many years ago. Since Mosquitoes can cause death, I thought I would share this with those who follow this discussion. You may even want to do a copy/past and send it to friends.
I was at a deck party awhile back, and the bugs were having a ball biting everyone. A man at the party sprayed the lawn and deck floor with Listerine, and the little demons disappeared.
The next year I filled a 4-ounce spray bottle and used it around my seat whenever I saw mosquitoes. And voila! That worked as well. It worked at a picnic where we sprayed the area around the food table, the children's swing area, and the standing water nearby.
During the summer, I don't leave home without it... Pass it on.

OUR FRIEND'S COMMENTS:
I tried this on my deck and around all of my doors. It works - in fact, it killed them instantly. I bought my bottle from Target and it cost me $1.89.
It really doesn't take much, and it is a big bottle, too; so it is not as expensive to use as the can of spray you buy that doesn't last 30 minutes.
So, try this, please. It will last a couple of days. Don't spray directly on a wood door (like your front door), but spray around the frame. Spray around the window frames, and even inside the dog house.
Hope everyone has a safe, fun, happy and mosquito free summer!!!

Billie June Keaffaber I read the DC and I think the word in the immediate COD Is anemia, but he ICD codes are 131a = Secondary to acute nephritis and 97 = Arteriosclerosis (excluding coronary or renal sclerosis or cerebral haemorrhage)
Patricia Ann Scoggin I need a project for died from heat exhaustion. You could change the project title for Heat Stroke to include heat exhaustion to "Heat Related Illnesses" or some such thing. That would make it easier than creating an entirely new project.
Thanks,
Mary
Private User, Erica Howton,
Mary, I will start working on a project this evening. I will see what topic seems to cover your options.
Erica, what title do you think would be the best??? I kind of like "Heat related illnesses", but don't know whether that really covers the subject...
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/heat-exhaustion/symp...
Heat exhaustion is a condition whose symptoms may include heavy sweating and a rapid pulse, a result of your body overheating. It's one of three heat-related syndromes, with heat cramps being the mildest and heatstroke being the most severe.

Overheated 🥵?
Erica Howton,
We have a slight problem... I just looked at the COD portal and find that there is a project for "Heat Stroke" https://www.geni.com/projects/People-who-died-of-heat-stroke/27735
It has 6 profiles.
Here is the New project: Heat related illnesses
https://www.geni.com/projects/Heat-related-illnesses/55976
It covers a broader grouping of illnesses...
"The People who died of heat stroke" has a this project in HistoryLink
/https://media.geni.com/p13/43/69/79/0c/5344483e65ec5d9e/historylink...
Can the new project use that link???
I have sent Nathan who created the other project to see if he would merge his with the new one. I can help also, esp. with transferring the profiles (6). Then it can be deleted. (As the creator of the project he has to do the deleting, right???)
Erica Howton,
I pulled a couple of statements from his project & added them to the Heat stroke section in this new one. So all that would be needed is to move the profiles to the new one...
I added the new profile above the "Heat Stroke" profile in the COD portal.
How would he remove himself as a collaborator--he created the project???
New Project: https://www.geni.com/projects/Asphyxiation-suffocation/56193 Asphyxiation (suffocation).
I am putting the project in the CoD list just above Carbon Monoxide Poisoning as an independent project... should it go some where else in the list???
Private User, I think you asked for this several months ago.
If anyone can think of other projects for the "Related Projects" or any other "tags" please feel free to add them to the project.
Look at the photos--couldn't decide between which "cloud" to use--the blue one or the one with the hand...

Billie June Keaffaber,
If you don't have a specific heart disease listed, I would suggest putting the person in the https://www.geni.com/projects/Cardiovascular-Diseases-Cardiac-Heart... project (which you did.)
I will look to see what I can find on Organic Heart Disease, but my computer is acting up & I am unable to created documents until some time in early Oct. :-(. If I find much on "Organic Heart Disease", I will add the above profile to it when I am able to create the new project...
