Query on Edith Matilda MIDSON husbands

Can anyone provide any substantiating documentation for either husband?

Copy of Marriage certificate for John Henry and Edith Matilda Midson 21st July 1904, copy of birth certificate for John Henry born 2nd July 1866 details of children of above-mentioned, Cecil John Eyles Henry born 13.9.1904, Jessie Margaret Henry born 15.9.1906, Major Frank Henry born 7.7.1908, Wilbur avid Henry born 10.12.1909, Wesley Henry born and died 1912, Elizabeth Edith Henry born 1914. John Henry fought in Boer War at siege of Mafeking 1899. Whoever put John David Nelson Henry in as husband of Edith Midson and stepfather of all but 2 of John & Edith's children needs to remove same - the photograph in profile is NOT John Henry husband of Edith Henry nee Midson.

Does the marriage certificate of John to Edith contain John HENRY's full name or his date of birth?
Do the children's birth certificates contain their father's full name or his date of birth?

The photo of Edith and the man that 4 trees identify as her husband John David Nelson HENRY appear to be 1 photograph cut in half. Is it a photo of Edith?

Do you have any photos of Edith and her husband John HENRY?
Are they buried together - if so do you have a photo of their gravestones?
Or are there any newspaper reports of Edith's or his death?

Is the photo attached to Cecil John Eyles Henry a photo of Cecil HENRY as the trees have the 2 people as his father?

Hi Leanne ,I'm astounded at the mess this tree is in , Maybe the Heritage trees that have joined with Geni are causing the trouble and people not having the correct information also . The people I have one my tree are all real connection to me with the exception that I have said . My Grandfather JOHN HENRY born 22 July 1866 married EDITH Henry nee MIDSON 21st July 1904 Edith was born 24th January1882 They had 5 children being my father Cecil John Eyles HENRY Born 1904 Jessie M HenryB 1906 ,Major Frank HENRY, B 1908 Wilbur HENRY B 1910 & Wesley HENRY B 1912 & D 1912. Both JOHN HENRY his Wife EDITH HENRY & their son MAJOR FRANK HENRY are buried in the same Grave at The Field Of Mars Cemetery NORTH RYDE NSW . I do hope this information will help fix this problem . I beliebe there is another MIDSON FAMILY BUT no relation to me .

The photos of JOHN David Nelson HENRY & EDITH Midson that you have on this sheet are nothing like my Grandparents.

My friend Betty Mc Alister is right in complaining, someone has put John David Nelson Henry on my tree as well, he is nothing to do with her family and they certainly did not get married the same day 21.7.1904. Sadly I have tried to get rid of him off my tree but it is locked. Very annoying for Betty, I do hope you can sort it all out Leanne, I do not know where you have this information to manage her tree. We all seem to have trouble there.
Do not know who has put photos on her tree, as I have not. I have been with Geni for many, many years, very disappointing.

@ JOHN HENRY -For goodness sake obviously no-one verified the information originally posted for the John Henry married to Edith Matilda Henry nee Midson -(i.eJohn David Nelson Henry and his relationship to Edith's children) my sister-in-law Betty and myself have verified all the details we have now put on the profile except for the incorrect photograph! and if a postal address can be given, we can post ALL the required information to ensure that the CORRECT information is posted on this site - this needs to be done.

I have sent all the correct information to you and NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE . As far as I'm concerned I am finishing with GENI ,Sorry up until about a month ago when I decided to look at Geni and MY TREE I was upset and confused as to how this mess could have happened other than nothing was verified when first put in Re JOHN HENRY & EDITH MATILDA MIDSON , I HAVE ALL DOCUMENTS TO VERIFY WHAT I HAVE PUT ON MY TREE BUT what other people have added to it makes me very very ANGRY .

I am willing to POST copies of my documents to you to verify what I am saying, The photos also which I have to verify MY GRANDFATHER & GRANDMOTHER JOHN HENRY & EDITH MIDSON do NOT LOOK ANYTHING LIKE the the other people you have for my grandparents . IT''S an insult to My Grandparents. Both of My Grandparents are buried At THE FIELD OF MARS CEMETERY NORTH RYDE My Grandfather BORN 1866 & DIED 1961. My Grandmother Born1882 died aged 45 years 1948. I rweally very very upset & angry re this MIX UP !!! & would appreciate it FIXED .

Hi Betty, you can take photos or scans of any documents/photos/evidence and attach them onto Geni and then attach them to the profile (or send me the link to the photos if you don't want them on the profile - If the image contains sensitive information that you don't want on the internet, you can cover this prior to scanning (or edit the photo afterwards to remove the information))

For photos you can do this via the Menu Item "Family" then "Photos" then select "+ Add Photos"

For documents you can do this via the Menu Item "Research" then "Documents" then select "+ Add Documents"

Alternatively you can do this from the "Media" tab of the profile.
For Photos - go to the relevant profile - select "media" tab - select "Add Photos"
For Documents - go to the relevant profile - select "media" tab - on the right of the screen you will see "Documents" select "Click Here"

As I have advised you before I do not give out my personal email address or my home address in my work as a volunteer curator. This would be the same for the majority of the curators. This protects both myself and anyone I correspond with as Geni can review the content of all correspondence in the event of a complaint by either party.

I do not Know who is giving you this information because I have never asked for your address OR email. I really do not want anything to do with Geni as I have found lately too many problems
with the information.I have only recently looked at Geni and was surprised at what is there. Some is correct but there is a lot that's NOT.
Unfortunately I like you have no control who puts what on there.
