Profiles Mentioned:

My friend is a direct link by her mother to William Sharpnack and there is no proof that William is stated born in Hunterdon, NJ. Census proves that wrong. And there is no marriage record found for William and Sarah Anderson either. NO PROOFS OF HER DEATH year either. We have proofs of the family links to Pennsylvania. However, the Minnie Lowther book is not an acceptable source of proof of evidences due to many errors made by general guessingand hearsay.

While find a grade has substantial tombstones with memorials and some lack of actual stones with inscription, they do help to a large degree. However, in proving DAR memberships qualification takes at least one proof of link substance between every generation as supporting evidence after generation 4 (the party making the application is generation one).

If anyone has any source of proofs of their date which fixed dates and locations for any party in the lineage they need to offer proofs or identifying knowledge with a document rather than general family traditions which are not evidences.

Not many family histories lacking a bibliography of sources are acceptable either.example: where did that information come from as for the "Dee"?? for the middle named of the wife given to William?) as a wife of William born 1779 and married in 1802?... no proof of marriage document.

Charles Anderson is a proven DAR Patriot; His Daniel is a proven DAR patriot; Daniel son of Charles is only proven in the respect of being married Rachel and having a daughter named Rachel Anderson who married to John Wiley who is of the patriot lineage for t ship proven.

Much information provided in these trees but no real documentation of record that connect the subjects in the marriages, births and deaths. We have found all the Shapnack etal history that pertains to historically to NICE/SOUR/RICE in Germantown; some Monongalia lands and a few Virginia grants, the entire lineage of my friend in Tyler, Wetzel, and Ritchie Counties, the determined links to Ohio and Iowa,Fayette Co, PA , Montgomery and Washington Counties PA and onward.......

The seriously needed Documents of church baptisms is an issue as are marriages and a few wills. We have most of the Wills and probates for death dates after 1800 for Middy's work.
