There are no certain contemporary notices of Domhnall, and Domhnall's existence is not explicitly attested in any reliable contemporary source datable to any particular year. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domhnall_mac_Raghnaill

It follows that these parents: Ragnall mac Somhairle, Lord of the Isles and Fionnghuala of Moray, Lady of the Isles are definitely not proveable as his.

Not sure what needs to be done, but you curated this one.....what do you suggest?

Are none of the 10 listed sources good?

Jason Scott Wills curates. I've removed his parents, but left him because it seems fair enough to presume he did exist from his descent line's name.

All the Sources I can see - except the one personal clan tree without sources I can see - seem to be being used to say that there are no sources :-/

Now my tree still shows Domnall as my 20th GG but neither of his wives as my G. Grandmother ....

It is showing E.Stewart as my Grandfathers wife & Nic Gillies as my first cousin 22 times removed. Lol

Bit strange - I didn't touch his wives.

Lol- that's what he said...

:-)
