We have lots of users visiting this profile, but we have very little of her ancestry. Do we have any users skilled with Danish or Italian genealogy who might want to work on this? Every little bit helps.

It is impossible to figure out anything about her father other than his appearance, job, and age. It is impossible to figure out his ancestry & date of birth. Her cousin fleshed out a standalone tree for her mother's family a couple of years ago. Her birth surname equals a variant of a common English given name, Michele.

I see you've now found his date of birth -- excellent!

I think Dr. James McHenry Nielsen was born in Scandinavia and that surname is a quasi-patronymical Scandinavian one and McHenry is an artificial one he created. 42% of internet searches return his surname misspelled as Anglicized Nielson and 58% return it as Scandinavian patronymical Nielsen.
