My great-grandfather - G W Boozer - moved to Omaha, Texas from Alabama. As a child, they told me stories about them immigrating from Germany. Through Ancestory DNA, my daughter traced the family back to Johan Fredrick Duke of Saxony in 1500's and Mathis Buser in 1544. Sometime after they came to America, for some reason they changed the spelling from Buser to Boozer. My grandmother had 16 children with 2 sets of twins. We are all settled in different areas of Texas.
My grandfather was @John Jackson Boozer, and my mother was@ Maggie Lee Boozer. We have listed the genelogy in Ancestory.com.
My name is@ Mary John Branch. They liked that name John. I've spent a lifetime trying to ignore it. I'd appreciate any help you have that ties the family together if we have traced it correctly. Thank you!
