Richard Cook did have a son named Reuben, but he married someone other than Bethia Rich. I was approached by someone who claimed the same line as Aaron's and I paid the NEHGS to validate which Y-DNA was correct. I was told it was not the J line, so have been actively looking for Reuben Cook of East Haddam's parentage.
