I am hoping to go to Halifax and visit some of these cemeteries where Oakes are buried. Yes, I will photograph if I can find them. I see references to Wade-Adams Family Cemetery on Bowl Spring Road in Halifax County, Virginia. I also see references to an Adams family cemetery on SR 777. If anyone knows some sort of true address, I would appreciate it. I cannot seem to locate either on maps.
Any other cemeteries out there I need to visit? Please let me know.
