Copies of the bond signed by his wife and son, Thomas II, are preserved at Mendenhall.org see under Reunions 1999 and view the speech by myself, Gary Allen Singleton. The bond and inventory are on pages 9-10 and the Latin translation is given on page 6.

The bond for Thomas I died 1638 gives the parish of Ramsbury as being the parish of his residence and death. Then the inventory called him Thomas Mildenhall of Marridge Hill. So the location of his death should be Marridge Hill Ramsbury, Wiltshire and birth should be the same. Mendenhall Family Association

In my second post right above this one, I spelled the surname of Thomas c1580 the regular way "Mildenhall" not paying attention to the actual spelling in the bond and inventory which was "Minoll." From about 1605 to 1640 in Ramsbury area the spelling was Minoll in all documents. Then in the 1649 marriage record in the parish of Aldbourne, Wilts. the name of Thomas III was spelled "Minehall" marrying Jone Stroud. Then in the birth registers with the Quakers in the 1660's it was spelled "Minall." Finally with the will of Thomas III it was back to the main spelling of the town, Mildenhall.
