Hello fellow Z141ers
So I got my Y-111 results back and they suggested I was probably I-M253 but that I should do the I-M253 SNP pack to determine this conclusively. This came back that I was confirmed I-Z141. A couple of projects I have joined on FTDNA had me grouped into categories suggesting I should either do BigY or the Z141 SNP pack. So I did the Z141 SNP pack, and it came back that I am "I1-Z140+ [02] Z141+ Branch. Negative for known branches F2642- Z2535- A196- Y6231- Need to test Big-Y or FGC Elite". So I have taken advantage of the summer sale and purchased BigY.
Being a novice at best, trying to find any solid information about I-Z141 seems difficult. Does anyone have anything to go on more than what I've been told which is that is "strongly west Germanic"?
