The Camden City, New Jersey Project has been created to honor and memorialize those persons who have contributed to making Camden the great city it has been for nearly two centuries and will continue to be in the future. Generations of my ancestors immigrated into the United States settling in Camden. Through my genealogical research into my ancestors I've found myself documenting not only my relatives but neighbors, associates, employers, employees, persons of similar names or backgrounds...essentially entire neighborhoods to greater or lesser extents. I offer that information to others here in the hope that it may help in your genealogical research. Finally this project is an homage to Phil Cohen's superb web site on the local history of Camden, New Jersey which I have found so interesting and valuable in my research. I recommend it to all:
