This merge looks to have been incorrect, or at least had problems. Before I relized that I tried to fix it, which worked for some children, but not all. It should probably be undone, as well as the following:

I am contacting you about this profile: Jehu Burr immigrant to America circa 1630. This profile lists his parents as Jonathan-Burr-Sr/6000000002580490184 and /Esther-Burr/6000000005597790584. The profile for Jonathan-Burr-Sr/6000000002580490184 states he died in Connecticut in 1654 Most sources I found state that Jehu-Burr/6000000002860941197 was the original immigrant to America. Both can't be the first immigrant.

WikiTree states Jehu's parents are unknown. "Jehu Burr had been shown with parents Jonathan Burr and Esther (Stedman) Burr without sources".

Who is correct? Who was the first immigrant?

This merge was incorrect. Oliver was not the spouse of Rebecca 1783, he was the spouse of Rebecca 1861. Please unmerge it and I'll finish fixing it.

Elizabeth Margaret Smith has been messed up since the 2010 update, because it connected her to two husbands she couldn't have been married to, and now she has a 3rd husband that doesn't belong.

It's going to have to be untangled and possibly some merges undone. Sources on Ancestry were scare to none.

Coming up from the grandkids, I think the problem here is sources aren't agreed as to the mother of the children. Although the will has wife Sarah, so she was probably the last wife. He also might be the result of some past merge because he is locked to 2 sets of parents. The Isaac that matches the wives and most kids was supposedly the son of Thomas Foss and Abigail Cole.

FYI the Foss family in the late 1700s-earl7 1800s had a number of mixed up cousins (now sorted), but the conflict around Isaac remains.

I am thinking one problem is these 2 cousins. Different places have them with same death info. so their kids are being confused. Probably should be MP

I find this site has good references. I was using part for the LIbby's. The 1st gen has convoluted locks on some wives and kids. Thanks for help. I listed at his profile.

Samuel Vail is a locked MP. His bio lists 6 children, but 13 are attached, including two there were born when he was a child.

She has a c.1765 birth date, but multiple children and her marriage were before that date, and the confirmed matches are for someone born much later (1787) and much earlier (1735).
