There is some debate as to whether Elizabeth married 3 times - particularly as the 3rd marriage was in 1881 but she had a child to husband 2 6 years later.
Can anyone add any supporting information on Elizabeth, her husbands and children?

Elizabeth MAKEPEACE who died 2/6/1949 aged 81 at Toukley was the wife of W MAKEPEACE and mother of Lizzie, Alice, Bill, Tod, Phoebe, Ethel. Sister of Phoebe STAPLETON.
Hi,
I just found a newspaper report for death of Phillip Makepeace in 1883. I have attached the article to his profile.
The article does imply that they do not know if Phillip was married or not.
I have had another look at Elizabeth's children. 2 of them did indeed marry in Walgett in 1880 and 1881 (Eliz jnr and Annie) so my Elizabeth was most likely in Walgett during the suggested marriage. (assuming my info about children is correct)
Therefore the marriage could have taken place between Phillip and my Elizabeth
Thomas George Hewitt who was on Geni as a son of Thomas HEWITT and Elizabeth DORE is the only child of Thomas Hewitt and Elizabeth Hewitt
Okay, Elizabeth Gray (Dore) was definitely in Walgett in 1881 as her daughter Elizabeth Ann Gray married Simon Sherwood "in tent of brides mother"
