Any descendants of Micajah Peyton might be interested in a book by Ken Ossian called "Micajah Peyton: The Civil War Years". It is published by Camp Pope Bookshop. At the back, it has two good family pictures from the 1880's, and this was the first time I saw a picture of my Great Great Grandfather, Charles Allen Peyton. My copy cost me under $40 on Amazon.
