In the description it is stated:
" That Robert Russell of Andover ("Robert Russell II") supposedly emigrated to America when he was only ten or twelve does suggest that he may have come over as part of a family. On the other hand, the Robert Russell who died in Andover, MA in 1689 appears to have been a *son* of "Robert Russell II"."
The point I'd like to point out is this post claims that this Robert Russell appears to have been a *son* of "Robert Russell II...meaning if this is true THIS Robert Russell the second is actually Robert Russell the THIRD.
Where is the evidence for this one tidbit of info? I am just curious as it was thrown in there with no evidence as far as I see. I am doing very detailed genealogy trying to figure out, at the very least, where these Russells came from (most likely Scotland of course, and I am leaning towards Berwickshire right now). I want to make sure we stay fact based. Let me know if anyone has evidence.
Secondly, does anyone have evidence on the date of emigration?
