I had uploaded atDNA and mtDNA for a second cousin but it was attached to the wrong ancestor because I have 2 mtDNA accounts at FTDNA and for some reason I have not created a profile for the right ancestor here. So I deleted the link. What is my next step to upload both mtDNA kits attached to the correct ancestor? Thanks.

The DNA kits have to be attached to the person for whom the test was done, not to an ancestor; that profile has to exist on Geni, of course.

Once you have attached the DNA to the Profile of the person who took the test, Geni will then auto-populate the mtDNA to that profile's direct Maternal Ancestors - and their direct maternal descendants (for maybe 10 generations?) - assuming you have not unchecked that in your Settings.

What type help are you needing with regard to "managing profiles"?
