I have researched my family tree for hours and hours.
Now most of my family tree has been removed because the system took to long to respond and it timed out.
What can i do to have my family tree restored again

Just because you received a timeout, does not mean the data would be removed. You are part of the Geni World Tree. When I look at the tree from your profile, I can see a large tree. What part of the tree do you think is missing?

Good day Jonathan,
Thank you for your reply.
I can only see the following portion of my tree: from myself up to my Grand Father: Michiel Jhannes de Beer and my Grand Mother: Johanna Catherina de Beer (de Jongh)
The date/portion of the tree: from my Great Grand Father and Great Grand Mother up to Matthys Andries de Beer and Hilletjie Smit has disppeared from my screen /family tree

Michiel Johannes de Beer - I went to your profile, and clicked on Actions (upper right) and chose Ancestor Report - seemed like lots and lots.
When you look in tree view, do you see what looks like a little cloud or tree top with a number in it, in upper right corner of the box for each of those relatives?
Clicking on one of those (or clicking on the Tree icon on that Profile) gets you the tree focused on that person.
Try that -- see if the "problem" is that they are not showing your family all at one time, as opposed to any having disappeared.

That could also have something to do with the TimeOut -- your Tree may be too big to show all at one time, so Geni may possibly have re-set the Preferences for how many Generations to show at one time.

In the HTML Tree -- f you click on the little gear at the top of the sliding line where you can control how big the boxes are, you get a Tree Preferences box, for choosing how many generations to see at one time.
In the Flash Tree - think you see Preferences down the bottom center of screen.

Good day Lois,
Thank you very much for your help.
I did not realize how huge my family tree actually is.
Kind regards.
