I would be grateful if someone could assist me to sort out the Browne's of Camus - George Browne of Camus

Some members of this family have multiple parents (not duplicates), children who are really cousins and duplicate profiles as well. I am going cross-eyed with it all and it is clear an experienced talent is required.

To support the true lineage, I have the good fortune to have in my personal possession a pedigree, written in 1847, by Sir William Betham (1779-1853), Ulster King of Arms. I have uploaded some images from this pedigree so you will be able to see what I mean.

My emails to managers with not elicited any response so far.

Regards and thanks in advance
Pamela

I undid some merges that were problematic; if you need more help message me and I will see what I can do.

Thank you. Will take a look

@George Browne (c.1658-c.1729)
I see that "Dictionary of Irish Biography" gives the parents of George Browne (1660?-1729) as 2nd eldest of 8 sons of John Browne of Camus by Mary Roe of Hacketstown, co Waterford <DOI: https://doi.org/10.3318/dib.001028.v1>
The Complete Peerage (G.E.C.) Vol II p 346/7 asserts he was 2nd son of George Browne by Mary Rowe of Hacketstown and states in note "b" that this George (the father) was son of Ulysses (Ulick) Browne, a yr. s. of William Browne of Camus.

There are two George Browne - one the son of Thomas via Walter, the other the son of George via Ulysses.

1. George Browne of Camus

2. Count General Ulysses, Graf von Browne
