Hello Ton, thank you for getting back to me so fast. My name is Pamela(Pam), I'm Theo"a daughter. He is visiting me and asked if I would research out familytree. He has some questions that he hopes you'll be able to answer. To answer your question, yes we do love in the US. I am typing this for my dad. Are you living in the Netherlands? My dad wants to make sure that we have contacted the right family. My dad refers to your grandmother as Aunt Betje (sorry if my spelling is off), was your father Johannes / Joop in Kampen? He also asks if your grandmother lived in the Green Cross? He remembers your father as Joop when he was in the Dutch army. In February 1960 he returned back to the Netherlands to see most of the relatives that he could remember before moving to the US. He stayed with your grandmother for about 3days at the Green Cross in Kampen when his mom passed in November 1971 his dad an him went to see how many of our relatives were still alive in Kampen and other cities and villages. He can't remember the city where your dad was in a care center.when they spoke with him he believes that he mentioned something about having children. From there they went to see your grandmother in Dinspelone. He can still speak in his native tongue but writing can sometimes be a challenge. He (my dad) like to, if possible to get more background of our familytree of his mothers side also, he has questioned that since his parents passed away. He hasn't been able to find any answers. You had mentioned that you like to his dad when he returned to the Netherlands when he was living with his lady friend Bonnie in Delftzyl. He has quite a few offspring that can be added to our familytree. We look forward to hearing from you again. Regards, Theo and Pamela
