The Pernau Revision Lists tell us Gustav was born in Breslau, St Matthiae parish. Like others, initially I thought this was present day Wroclaw. It is not. A close look at the Revision List also mentions the Kirchspiele of Salisburg. Googling on this information reveals that there was in Livland a parish of Salisburg, as well as St. Matthiae, where the manor ("gut") of Breslau can be found. There were numerous Kreischmann families here. Jahn, a miller, and Anna headed a family with Gust, Adam, Liese, and Marri.
