If Anne was born a Russell why do we have a George King attached here as her father?

Haven't worked on this for a while, so had to drag out charts. There were 2 Anne Vassalls...John Vassall (1544-1625) married (1) Anne Hewes (with no children); (2) married Lady Anna (Ann/Anne) Russell (several children); (3) Judith Burrough.

If you mean William Vassall (1592-1655), (John's son); he married Anna King - who is thought to be the daughter of George King and Joanne Lorran, but there's a "break" in that line and I didn't follow it, since my lineage is from John Vassall (Jamestowne Society approved ancestor) and Lady Anna (or Anne) Russell (Vassall).

I'm presently working on translations for the Vassall/deVassal French line back to the 1100's. So, if your ancestor is William Vassall and John Vassall, we may be related.

Sharon, I think maybe someone has Anne Russell Vassall confused with her sons wife then. I think I will remove the George King as her father since her father should be a Russell. There is a George Kinge (spelled with an E on the end) attached to her sons wife.
