Hi there. My name is Debbie Gordon. I am Lucy Percy Donovan's great grand-daughter. Her parents were Henry James Percy and Sarah Bicknell. On the 29th July 1896 she married John Joseph (Jack) Donovan. They had 8 children. On the 30th December 1910 she was committed to Porirua hospital for having attempted to shoot her husband. She died tragically died on the 13th February 1912 whilst in hospital after having contracted typhoid fever, leaving behind a very young family - my grandfather was just 10 years old at the time.
