Hi cousin. my surnames are moorman, mcclendon, blackard , chandler. It has been hard to find out connections from our maternal gene. It also was found in a cave in northern spain. Does any of your info have my surnames in your history? I am on ancestry mostly as have a complex tree there.

Hi, Just saw your discussion on geni.com. I am a Jlc3b also. 23andme has me sharing a common ancestor with Richard III. However his mother, Cecily Neville Yorks' mtDNA is Jlc2c
inherited from her mother, Joan Beaufort, who inherited her mtDNA from her mother, Katherine
de Roet. That's as far back you can go for mtDNA, as no one knows who Katherine de Roet's mother was. All so very interesting.
