*Not Unknown Choctaw. His will mentions his half brother, Capt Isreal Folsom who purchased the estate of their father at auction where it had been hocked for the cause of the Revolution.
--------------------
'''Nathaniel Folsom''' married 2 Chicasaw sisters. Pushmataha's sister, Nahotima, married a Folsom and had Sophia. Sophia Folsom is the direct ancestor to MS Choctaw Juzans and Sharps. Nathaniel's will mentions Col. Isreal, his half bro who bought the farm who had fought at Moore's Creek while still a Captain. In 1756, Nathaniel Folsom married Ms Tahini first and then also, in the days of multiple wives, also married his second wife had the son, Rev Isreal Folsom of OK Choctaw Nation.

Confused - Nathaniel Folsom married two sisters- yes..
Aiahnichih Ohoyoh and sister- between them there were 24 children which 16 lived .. Col a David Folsom and Rev Israel Folsom were children of Aiahnichih. Cap Robert Folsom and Isaac Folsom were children of other sister. .. info from Rufus Folsom (great grandson of Nathaniel)
Not finding where Ms Tahini comes into info? No mention of any earlier marriage of Nathaniel yet any kids..

Ms. Tahini is mentioned in the screenshot, see Avatar. Taken from older book.

I have lost the screenshot.

Someone merged this information and this is not correct. Nathaniel Folsom married a Choctaw, and in his own letter says he came into the territory and quit his family after his father struck him. He was NOT choctaw, but he and two of his brothers had children with them. Harry Folsom of the Folsom Family association has a lot on this.

They do not have any connection to the children of Nahotima, who lived in a different district and town. She had two relationships, one with a trader with two half choctaw daughters, and one with a full blooded choctaw that was the father of Nahatima, Oklahoma, Tappenahoma and possibly Chanke,.

Jennifer Rae Mieirs - thank you for fixing this.
